Who is responsible
Personal information gathered here is the responsibility of the Chippewas of Rama First Nation, 5884 Rama Road, Rama ON L3V 6H6. Send privacy questions to privacy@arcaneplay.com.
Information collected
- Your device's IP address, from which a broad location (town or region) can be guessed.
- Browser and device details (the user agent) arriving with each request, together with the pages opened and the time.
- Whatever you write in the contact form. Submitting it simply hands a draft to your mail app; only the email you decide to send ever reaches us.
- The cookie decision you made, held in your own browser.
Purposes
- Keeping the site secure and finding faults.
- Analytics, if you agree, showing in totals which sections people read.
- Marketing and affiliate attribution, if you agree, so a partner can match a booking to a visit here.
- Replying to the emails you send.
Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA)
PIPEDA, Canada's federal privacy law for private-sector organizations, governs how we treat personal information. It gives you the means to see what we keep about you, have errors corrected, and pull back consent to optional uses whenever you like. Should our reply leave you unhappy, a complaint can go to the federal Privacy Commissioner's office (OPC).
Visitors in the European Union and the UK
Where the GDPR reaches you, we rely on your consent for analytics and advertising cookies and on legitimate interest for basic security logging. Your GDPR rights cover access, correction, erasure, restricted processing, objection and portability; consent can be withdrawn at any point, and a complaint may be lodged with the data protection authority in your country.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
Californians may learn what kinds of personal details we hold and why, request deletion or correction, and say no to any sale of it or sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising. Because affiliate cookies may amount to sharing, they wait for your agreement, and we honour Global Privacy Control as a valid refusal. Sensitive personal information is never used to infer traits about you, and exercising any of these rights will cost you nothing in service or price.
Retention
Security logs are deleted once they stop being useful for spotting abuse or faults. Analytics is held as totals. Your cookie decision expires after twelve months, at which point the banner returns. Correspondence stays on file while a query remains active and for a reasonable stretch after it closes.
Young people
The site is written for adults of 19 or older. Nobody under that age should send us information, and we do not seek it; tell us if a minor has written to us and we will erase the message promptly.
Changes to this policy
Any revision to this policy is reflected in the review date shown near its heading.
